Just new in this site and hope you can help me.
Sometime ago i had a computer issue and didnt know where to turn to for help.
I brownsed the internet and came accross a company called Direct2Support and contacting them
I was then redirected to someone called Michael Adams (Technician 5) who was pretty good and feel confortable with him
I accepted to let him taking "remote control" of the pc as at my work with the work pc we do this all the time.
Michael went away and do some work on the pc and called me back and showing me what he has done on the pc and then i aggreed to pay.
Few months later; he call again and asking if all was ok with the computer and decide to have a check up and then ok i have accepted all his wording.....and pay again.....
All was ok until today; I knew Michael has tried to call us few time but didnt want to answer the call as we didnt recognise the number.
Recently I decided to pick up the call and he explained who he was and wishes to speak to me; Ijust pretended that I was the sister and that i would let her know that he called.
Eventually this afternoon i decided to give him a call....All went ok and once again he showed me what was wrong with the pc...
However after his speach he came out to aks for more money and i had to refuse this time and explained that i already paid him previously for 2 years and wasnt willing to give him any extra.
HE went on to do some "work on the pc for an hour and called me back and again with the same speech which i have totally refused.
He tried to call us back few time and i had left the hand phone on the tel for a while.....The call seems to have stop.
Now i am wondering if it is a part of a scam company or if it is really part of Log me In Rescue?
I am still thinking he isnt as he tried to call us a lot time but then now unsure.
You are going to think i have been stupid but i can ensure you that i wouldnt do a such thing or being scammed as on this occasion it is me who has contacted the company at first. But then this afternoon....since i have been on the web searching for information about Log me in Rescue... and here I am....
