I have been trying to connect to a computer and it will show me the unattended host it will connect and once i try to start a session if gives me the below error over and over. I looked up the error code and sll it says is i am using an old version of the desktop client however that is not true since I am using the newest BETA version because the normal client does not work in the current release of Windows 10. I would appreciatte any help on this as this product quite frankly has been a complete beast to use.

I can't remember how to do this.. the standard lifetime of a logmein invitation I think is 20 minutes and we need to extend this to be 2 days as we aren going to do a bunch or remote installations... can anybody point me to where to change this setting please? Thanks a lot Aad

my friends cant copy my ipv4 address and it does not show up when they right click my name.

I'm running logmein hamachi on a couple of different machines. Some are running on free networks while others are running with mac-os. I run "sudo hamachi list" and I see all the machines that I'm connected to and all are shown as being connected with some being "via server", "direct" or "via relay". When I ping I can get to all the machines connected via direct and relay. I can't ping anything via server.

I have a tunneling problem ,in Windows 10 ,but the drivers are ok, I am connecting to the network adapters, the network and the connection to the server, I was wondering if there is any way to fix it, since I have already seen several videos and they all talk about the same thing and there is no solution to my problem.

With the recent news from Apple about screen recording usage in third party apps, I need to know how that is going to affect iOS mobile remote functionality in Rescue. Do you have any information on the impact this may have on your product and roadmap going forward?

We are looking into using this for remote access into systems mounted on a wall with no keyboard or mouse attached.  We can remote into them, make updates and log out but it leaves the little message by the clock that the machine was remoted using unattended access.  This little message covers part of what we need displayed.  Is there any way to make that go away?  It would be ok of it remained for a few minutes even, but it can't stay until someone clicks on it because there is no access to click.

I've been using LMI Rescue for work on a Mac for 4 years now, and my desktop PC at home is a Windows machine.  The experience between the two OS's for LMI is pretty obvious.  I understand Apple makes things difficult, but as. a third. party app, I feel like the experience for Mac users doesnt really seem to be important to LMI.  The app crashes often. (especially on Mojave) and has many weird bugs (IE typing loses its place unless all but one sessions are on On Hold, trying to use keyboard commands sometimes weirdly minimizes the window and pops it out, I have a wierd "Wineloaded" icon that somehow controls the software for minimizing, I can't Command Tab to cylce through windows anymore meaning to quickly swtich to my local browser to reference something and then jump back into full screen, and the list goes on and on). Can anyone speak to this?  The crashing of the app is really the most devastating, but why does Mac feel like an after thought?  Im attaching a SS of the icon that has to pop up in the dock in order for me to run the app on a completely up to date version of OS. X Mojave.  You can see when i hover over with mouse it says Wineloader64.  I've uninstalled and. re-installed and nothing helps.

Due to a recent investigation by TechCrunch, Apple notified developers that they should remove or properly disclose any use of analytics code within an app that allows  tracking of user actions without their consent.

 

LogMeIn would like to clarify that the Rescue mobile application for iOS does not  track any information about user actions, and users never share their screen or device information without user consent.

 

Users grant explicit access to their device as part of the remote support experience, and have full control over the information being broadcast over Rescue. Because of this we are fully compliant with Apple’s request and no further actions or changes are necessary to our applications.

Hi there,

We've installed Windows agent 1.0.0.139 and after that all computers that use Internet via proxy cannot be accessed. Only have connection to those computers that doesn't use proxy for Internet. Please to advise how to proceed with this issue. This issue wasn't present  when we were using old GoToAssist agent.

I cannot log in to my account, I constantly get an error saying that CAPTCHA is not working, it just does not appear for me, but I cannot disable CAPTCHA even though I tried to change my password.
What should I do, why does not CAPCHA work for me

Hello All.

I would like to post a question about a very specific topic.
Via Logmein either by console or application we are running unattended access for an asset that is setup for end user support.

A little information:
It is a PC that is setup for touch screen interaction and the only support besides hardware is a team setup somewhere else in the world.

Using logmein we are able to change anything we want, parameters, applications, front ends from the used URL.

Either way.
We found out that unattended access suits our needs. 
What we don`t know and is a mystery to us.
- The PC running windows 10 is active during the day, however over night we believe the unattended access is somehow interfering with Windows 10 in a way that it gets disconnected. 
We can`t see it in the logs besides:

2:18 PM Connecting to: control.app10-02.logmeinrescue.com (95.172.70.143:443)
2:18 PM Connected to Applet (Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman 2048 bits, ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 256 bits)
2:18 PM Remote Control successfully initiated.
8:12 PM The connection to the customer was lost. This session will reconnect if and when the customer reestablishes a network connection.
8:12 PM Disconnected (Applet)
8:12 PM Connecting to: control.app10-02.logmeinrescue.com (95.172.70.143:443)
8:12 PM Connected to Applet (Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman 2048 bits, ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 256 bits)
8:27 PM Disconnected (Applet)

As you can see the applet reconnects.
The problem we are facing is that when the Unattended access is losing connection like this the PC locks itself into the Windows 10 log-on screen. 
This is not supposed to happen as the machine is setup to be active 24/24h a day for support reasons. 
The only way to re-initiate the booth to its normal business is a LMI Reboot and then some interaction. 

We have setup the Machine over Ethernet, And ruled out the network is the issue. 
We think we are almost there with as well ruling out windows 10 being the cause 
(Updates, group policy ect,) The machine is built to not reboot automatically. 


So that leaves us with LMI 
- Whenever we disconnect the session it goes back to lock screen
can we turn this off somehow?
- Is it possible that the LMI unattended access (always active) can timeout at some point?
(The console is setup on a pc that does not sleep or turn off as well, no hibernation or anything)

We are at a loss what It can be so I`m turning here for further solutions to look for.

In midst of rather large file transfer, and don't want to test this...can't find an answer.  Does anyone know if putting this session on hold would stop the file manager progress?

Hi all, 

 

When I remote into my work computer everything is fine until I RUN a poerpoint presentation. When I run the presentation I loose all mouse contol. Everything is fine when I am designing the presnetation, working on other files and folders, yet as soon as I click run slidehsow - that is it - no mouse. I can press the ALT+CTR_DEL icon and I can then use my mouse to select logoff, restart, task manager (which by the way once selected shows up, but I still have no mouse control). The only thing I can do is restart the remote computer. This happenss everytime I run the presentation. Any ideas on what I can do?
